my job title is "Aircraft Armament Systems" but we get called "weapons troops"
the AFSC is 2w1x1 if you want to look it up.
It means that I load bombs, missiles, 20mm ammo, chaff, flare, bomb racks, missile launchers, the gun system, etc. on the F-15E fighter jet. I also do mechanical and electrical work for the weapons systems too.
I'd rather be a fighter pilot. To be an officer and get their pay would be great! And just to be a pilot, obviously...
