no they just spin only one way

Most standard hard drives only spin one way (clockwise I believe). However, there are some special hard drives that spin the other way. I am not too sure that there are any that can spin both ways, but I highly doubt it.

No they spin in only one direction....! I can give you a link that deals with hard drive problems. Some drive problems can be easily fixed by yourself using easily available tools. I found the info at http://fixit.in useful. Try this site, if you can get what is required.

As far as our understanding, the HDD only spin one direction.
