I think the biggest problem we have with violations is that are not consistent. They give one person a violation for something and then not the next person. And, what's worse, they let the pervs and racists get by with way too much.

The reason I don't like violations is because they are not applied consistently. One of my questions that was violated was, "Would you eat a day old wiener from a 7-11?"

After that I saw numerous questions with the word wiener in them, or 7-11, etc. I see plenty of questions posted that should be violated, but aren't. I think the violations are arbitrary and inconsistent. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Yes we shouldn't take it too seriously. Some people just like to act out that police part of their personality. Althought it'd be cooler if you used acutal words instead of abbreviations when you ask a question.

People are dying in a war and you are worried about your stupid questions or answers. I served in the army and shot many to protect your right to ask such stupid questions. I just hope you realize what many of us have done to protect your rights? Would you go to war to protect the rights of my grand children or are you just content to fill your mouth with pizza and junk food and ask stupid questions. heheh yourself.

I believe it is right to report harassment and hate, as long as it really is harassment and hate. I don't agree with politically correct extremists who get upset because they're vegans and you ask about shark steak recipes, American foreign policy or religious fundamentalism. One is dealing with hate; the other is academic censorship.

Maybe it's hard for the yahoo people to be analizing each report.
I know some are not really violations.
