Buying a mobile phone is a easy thing, Firstly note down your requirements, your utilities and budget, Even chose the service operator, CDMA or GSM, Your priority- Large Phone Book/Large SMS Capacity/Camera/Music Player/Video Player and other features.., the Memory card feature. And over all your Budget.
Normally a CDMA feature pack LG phones comes around 8000/-.
And also feature pack GSM phones will come around 10000/-. for GSM NOKIA is a better option.

well there are approx over 500 mobiles in the market. for a consolidated n best budget i suggest u go in for a sony ericsson w700i or look out for more options in gadgetsguru.in

If you want the latest, I heard N73 is great but also you can't go wrong with Nokia 6230i or Nokia 6630. Both great phones.

if you have budget more than 10,000+ than go for nokia N72.if you have budget less than 5000 than go for moto flip.if your budget is between 5000 to 10000 than go for nokia 6260,nokia 3230,sony erricsson 550i.
you can also try for nokia 6630.
