When this tragedy took place, were the police shooting at Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris?
In other words...was their a shootout between the two perpetrators and the police??

From my understanding no. By the time the cops found out it was two high school kids, the massacre was finished and the two had committed suicide.

No. The police stood by putside and didn't attempt to go into the building to shoot at or stop the perpetrators.

i believe so but not till the end of there rampage, most people wonder why the police took so long to enter the building after they go to the school.
