The books - - Books are ALWAYS so much better than the interpretation of the book by an unimaginative Director, Studio, Actors, whatever -- because of all the details that are left OUT of the Movie - and the fact that CGI is now more important than trying to retain the book's setting, ideas, and events -- and that is a SHAME.

Naturally I enjoy the books more than the movies, but it's great to see those wonderful characters come to life on the big screen.

I like both, but the movies never do the books justice.

I like the movies but I'm also swayed toward them since I am a filmmaker. I like the books too though.

Books, they are so much better. In the movie there is always a bunch of cheesy back-round comments, where one guy will say "Oh, wow, what is that, its cool!" And everyone says "Oooooooooo!" or "Ahhhhhhhhh!" So corny.
