Lately my webpage on perpetual motion machines has shown up 24th on a main google search for that topic. It caught me somewhat by surprise even though I have been silently wishing and hoping that my ideas would get more attention.

So the question is: What would you do if you were in a similar situation and it escalated to significant notoriety? Would you defend your sanity? Try to live up to the image? This is a totally frivolous question. I'm just looking for some good-humored advice.

Or you could address the topic of what you would do if you became famous unexpectedly as a result of your renewed passion for something you used to do as a kid.

What are the upsides of your newfound fame? The downsides?

I should emphasize that I am not by any means claiming that I have a working perpetual motion device. I do have a truly unbalanced wheel that is not perpetual. For those of you who understand that much, I would gladly offer a link to my website, which continues to fascinate me: http://www.nathancoppedge.com/Perpetual_Motion.html

Enjoy the fame! It just happens to come to you.
What is the tone of your website? Do YOU take it seriously?
Play with it. Enjoy the ride. See what it brings you or where it takes you.
Maybe you were right all along?

read a book called
power money fame sex
it should really explain some things.

by gretchen rubin ( just google the book, it will come up).

If I were you honestly I would ride on that fame. Can you get in contact with other people who can promote your idea's? Could you get yourself and your idea's on TV?

me personally, I would like to be an actress. Star in a movie. I dont necessarily have to be famous, but well known would be nice. So if I got famous for an idea, I would have to find myself on TV somehow, getting myself in from of as wide of an audience as possible. I would also like to write books, make a movie and heck,
maybe even a CD. Nothing is impossible.

I did Duct Tape prom, so I've been there.

I actually enjoyed the short lived fame. It was fun to be known for something other than good grades and a tendency blow up at pretentious high school actors...haha.

in my life, i have learned that i am the exception to damn near everything. i have found the exceptions to the laws of thermodynamics, which means i have created perpetual motion/free energy/over unity. more on that after i get the patents.

i will continue to be myself, and there is a good chance that because of my invention, the media maybe too afraid to come after me, fearing what i may have come up with to stop them from being in my face with their cameras.

i will have more money, and pursue my hobbies, and i'll be retired.
