My friend alwayse acts like a baby. she laughs hystetericly at herself, even if no one else lafs. she goes "britty, britty, britty" all the time. and she goes "squishy, he, he, he" when she pokes my friend. she pokes my friend constantly in the back and tummy and on the butt sometimes. it is embarising and humiliating. so all of us who have to stand her started ignoring her and she didnt even notice. then finaly i went and talked to her. i told her that she needs to stop acting like a baby. She got angry and now i think she hates me. im glad because i have had to put up with her for 3 years now and she needs to grow up. did i do the right thing?

Yes, she is inconsiderate and really needed someone to tell her that her behavior was inappropriate. Some people (believe it or not) don't realize how they act! Maybe now she will learn some respect! Good for you and I bet you feel much better like a weight was lifted off your shoulders!

if you were her friend, I wouldn't like to meet the person who has no use for her. and of course because you and your other friends who are all perfect think you know what this girl needs so you ignore her, and when that doesn't work you have a talk to her about her acting like a baby, and now you think she hates you, but you are glad, NICE this poor girl may be insecure and immature, but at least she knows it, now I am telling you that your actions were just as bad if not worse than any thing she did, now you probably hate me and I am glad because you need to grow up and did I do the right thing

you've been together for 3 years and now your saying your glad she's out of your life.so your just being hypocrite all that time.if she's acting like a baby so don't treat her like a baby.tell her to grow up and treat her as an adult.she just want some attention.she is just being her self than being hypocrite. and as a friend you should accept her the way she is.that's called true friends.and she can't accept when you told her to stop acting like that because that's the way she is and you know it because you guys have been friends for 3 years so than why now it all have to happen not 3 years ago?

I am suer you did the right thing if you think you did, but what if she was just trying to change because of something that happened in past or maybe she is mentally deformed and you didint know about it. How old is she anyway? Does she have friends now? How does she feel? Think about that.

You did the right thing!
But make sure you were not hateful about it when you went to her. And, hopefully you explained it to her in a loving way,
after all, thats what friends are like to each other..kind and loving.

Yes you did right by going to her talking to her and if she's a real friend she'll come and talk to you and straighten out her act.
