the good life is living life to it's fullest

Many people confuse being comfortable with having a good life. Case in point: if you look at the other answers to this question, you will likely find many things that people think will make them comfortable. The more possessions you have, the harder it is to keep up with that lifestyle. The happiest people you will ever meet often do not have much.

i can't imagine anything better than being able to share your life with the person you Love, and have them Love you in return.

Love is patient, Love is kind and is not jealous; Love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.

The good life is living in gratitude for what God has done to give us hope after our time on earth is finished.

Putting a qualitative and quantitative definition as to what a "good life" is can be quite daunting for the simple reason that people have varying opinion and beliefs.

To me, a "good life" is not based on one's circumstances because a person can be dirt poor and yet at the end of the day he can still say that he has a good life while someone can be wallowing in riches and yet he still considers his life as lacking and not good at all.

A "good life" is not defined by one's educational background nor stature in life.

To me, it is actually the ability to have peace within yourself that comes from having a relationship with God. It is having a joy in your heart regardless of your circumstance, a security in who you are in the eyes of God, our Creator, Savior, Refuge, And Ever Present Help in Times of Need, Friend, Lover, Father, and the list goes on and on...

The good life has one prerequisite:

1) Recognition of one's absolute freedom to choose.

Once that is fulfilled, the good life is having pleasure from making fulfilling choices successively.

Joseph Campbell claims we should follow our bliss. Maybe that's the whole point; living a good life is being true to yourself and opting to follow the path that suits you best.
