Girls normally begin to start acting more mature and accepting more responsibility as teenagers. Much of that though will depend on her homelife.

I have met some 12 year old ladies that are pretty "grown up". I have also seen a few 45 year old women that have never "grown up". Every person in this worldd is different. Generally women are more mature than men at a much younger age. My wife came from a broken home and she grew up quite early. Her sister didn't grow up nearly as early because she was spoiled rotten!! Please remember that each and every one of us has been given strengths and weaknesses by our FATHER. HE can make us strong in areas and weak in others. Only HE could answer this question and be right 100% of the time. Have a great holiday.

The need to be responsible just comes to you...that's what maturity is- it is brought about by certain life experiences that wake you up to reality. If you're asking this question, I bet you're feeling like you should start being responsible, or feel guilty for feeling irresponsible...everyone makes mistakes and acts irresponsibly sometimes...that gets better with age as you encounter more situations and gain more knowledge from people that give you advice, people that tell you off, people that inspire you, people that love you and those that reject you. There is so much to learn from this life....
The simple answer is: it's personal. When the need to be responsible comes, you will know and answer that feeling. It's gradual, too. You'll be taught little by little that it is most advantageous for you and others to be "responsible."
Don't fret!

IMHO girls only have "GENERAL" or approxamate ages-0-7,8-11,12-16,17-21,22-26,27-29+3, early 30's(is all the way to 38),39+5, 45-55,after that its like on a "NEED TO KNOW BASIS"!-lol If you held my feet to the fire I would have to say the 22-26 age group ,having left home for college ,job ,husband or any combination there of is starting to put down some roots and listen for the LOUD TICKING of the proverbial biological clock.

Probably about the time that they get their drivers license is when I notice girls acting more mature. However, it varies from girl to girl. One factor that plays a part is how they were raised and what morals are instilled into them.
For me, I felt like I had to grow up pretty fast because I've been through a lot and I had to be there for my mom after my dad left us.
