I have tried everything and can not get my NEC MultiSync 1550V Monitor to work on my Compaq Computer. It plugs in and powers on but I can not get eanything to show up. The power light comes on and off. over and over. I can't push any buttons to change anything. I don't know if I need to download something or if the monitor is just bad.
Please help.

My original Monitor works fine. I just can not get the new monitor to work right.

Could also be your video card. Does another monitor work?

Call NEC customer service it loooks like there is a three year warranty on that brand.
