Invest in your education. Learn by doing. Play in the Stock Market (you learn faster with your own money), business (buy items - buy low/sell high ), but mostly if you havent done it already - use it to buy investment education related books and seminars.

Investing without education is no different from handing a five year old a loaded gun. At least with a water gun (or 500 bucks) it wont hurt too bad!

My mother played it safe her entire life until she died two months ago with cancer at 60 years old. She was never able to accomplish a good amount of her dreams because she played it safe - had kids, couldnt afford to take risks after that, and whatdya know - she's no longer able to achieve what she wanted. 40 YEARS - she spent working for the same company - playing it safe. House prices are low. Could be a good time to buy. Government bond yields have increased. If it were me, I would do some research on the property market and buy well. If you could find low priced properties in a half decent area, you should get good rental returns. You could use this rent income to finance more properties.
