every races have their own negative traits and probably they are not aware of it... but positives and negatives make the world go round!! so be proud of what you are.. even if your a black or white and etc... :)

IMO the pride is worse than crab mentality, shouting too much"i'm p[roud to be filipino" irritates foreiners. Be proud by action and not by words. Lets just work together to make this country better in a silent way. its by buying filipino and paying taxes and voting the right politicians.

I have worked with many Filipino women, and I have to say, that all of them I have known, apart from only ONE, have all had these things in common - extreme competitiveness, they are huge gossips, incredibly materialistic, and very jealous of other women, and they all like to think they are Spanish! Sorry, but I can only go by my experience, and this is it!
