For one of my holiday gifts, I was thinking of getting my wife perfume. I know VERY little about perfume, so I was hoping I could get some recommendations to narrow my sniff list.

Thanks.

I love Ralph Lauren's perfume called "Romance." He usually has great perfumes because the smells aren't too harsh and overpowering. Burberry makes nice smelling perfumes too that lasts long. Escada smells nice too but it doesn't last long and you would need to reapply every few hours to stay in.

if you don't want to spend a lot..go to victoria's secret.. for about $9 a bottle you can get body splash..great variety of fragrances. secret seduction and the vanilla ones are my personal favorite. they also have perfumes and other scented things that any girl would like. if you want something a little more upper level.. chanel #5 is great

I love sweet scents and these two are the most delicious to sniff! Britney Spears - curious Kylie Minogue - Sweet Darling The best part is the scent doesn't wear out, so you'll be smelling Fabulous all day!

Go to Sears, great place for great purfume. They always have nice ladies helping out. I love buying perfume there. Or maybe I just love the help. Yup, it's the help I love. I need to get out more.

I suggest dolce and gabbana blue, romance by polo, realities or liz by liz claiborne, victoria's secret(any), and mac (the make-up company and Dillard's) has nice fragrances, too. But, ultimately you should either go to the mall and get whatever smells good to you since you are her husband or just look in her stuff and just buy whatever she's low on.

I wish you would have told us what she usually wears, so we could know if she likes sweet, floral,spicy...
I personally am asking for Prada this christmas, it is kinda spicy.
Usually, I wear Amirege/Givency, it really gets attention.
good luck on your hunt. after you sniff, don't forget to sniff the coffee beans. if you don't see any, ask the clerk, she'll have them behind the counter.
