My mom agreed with her. When i was walking to my room she told my mom i was so shy and my mom agreed with her also. My brother heard the whole thing, and i know he is making fun of me at this moment because we dont talk anymore. Did she perpously wanted me to hear it because right about when i was leaving she said it and it is pissing me off

Is it a lie? If it's the truth than I'm pretty sure that everyone knows it already--including your brother. In the first place, it's not an insult, merely an observation.
I'm quiet too and people are always telling I'm quiet, as if I didn't know. Why should I be insulted though. I already know it's the truth.
I would just ignore it because what was your mom supposed to say to the comment? "No, she's not."? That would be a lie wouldn't it? Everyone would have known it wasn't true which would have made your mom look stupid.
Just forget about it because it is really nothing to be upset about.

She possibly didnt mean to hurt your feelings, but was pointing out to the friend that you are not rude, just shy. A lot of people assume that people who are shy are either being rude and dont want to talk or that they think they are too good to talk to them. Try not to worry about it as there are a lot worse things to be in this world than shy. Some girls should take a step back and learn how to be shy as they are just way to up front.

being super quiet is not a bad thing. if you have a problem with your mom about the things she says then you should talk to her and let her know how you feel, by not talking to her you are only being more quite.take care & good luck

You should do absolutly nothing.....your quiet, mysterious,...and you should not say a thing....you will be more respected...and people will trust you more with their true secrets because you can keep it to yourself.....gossip is trouble...a true friend you will confide in soon.......
