Without friends, you have no one to keep you grounded when success goes to your head. A career is definitely important, but it's not everything. Everyone needs to have fun.

Good social relationships play a key role in a good quality of life. It's human nature to desire the acceptance of our peers. We want others to like us and think highly of us. We were not meant to be alone in this world, that's why there are so many of us here. We desire and thrive off of close connections with other human beings. It's a part of our human nature - our instincts. That's like asking why a lion kills another animal in the wild. He does it to survive, he does it because that is whats already programmed in him to do since birth. Same goes for humans and social interaction.

Have you ever heard this saying, "You can't soar with the Eagles if youre hanging with the turkeys"?? That is SO true! Friends are, in part, a reflection of ourselves. So, what do YOUR friends say about you??? A LOT actually!! You can tell a good man by the company he keeps...and vica versa...............

Friends appreciate your presence in their lives. Friends accept your help. Friends give you unconditional love. You sow what you reap. Friends rejoice with you in good times and are there to help build you up in not-so-good times.
