Communicate your standard levels of production and show them that it can be achieved. You can do this by either doing it yourself to prove it or you can test them by having a contest with the prize being $20-$50. Once they have won and produced to the new level you can simple say that you knew they could do it and now that we know you can do it then lets expect to be good employees everyday and earn our pay by producing the same as we did in the contest.
