I recommend that you do that, for maybe a month or so. Than you will know the answer, and you will not have to ask.

Communicate your standard levels of production and show them that it can be achieved. You can do this by either doing it yourself to prove it or you can test them by having a contest with the prize being $20-$50. Once they have won and produced to the new level you can simple say that you knew they could do it and now that we know you can do it then lets expect to be good employees everyday and earn our pay by producing the same as we did in the contest.

manage them like human beings, provide them a 2 hour paid early leave on Friday in the journey that they make production targets for the week. in the journey that they continually meet or exceed production targets provide them a strengthen, after all it really is what makes our international bypass round. good luck

Have several people sit in the outer office. Tell your workers if they slow down they will be replaced.Also a cattle prod usually gets a little extra speed.
