I have no problem with Interracial relationships or marriages, matter of fact I think that they are wonderful especially when they work out even if other have doubts. I am engaged to a white man and I am black(as u can see by my avatar pic) :-)and we are so very much in love. I wouldnt trade him for anything or anyone. I think that our relationship shows people that the color of your skin dont matter, well it shouldnt anyway, and that it's all about how you are treated within the relationship and the love that is being shared. I love the way it show how much love can conquer over all other obstacles in life even if pple dont like what they see in front of them. And show that you can be with someone of your own race or outside of your race and be treated like crap as well as be treated like royality. What do you thing? Shouldnt pple follow their heart and be with the person that they love or just do what society says is right? Your Opinion Please!!

Interracial Relationships can stand the test of time,as long as the two who are "In Love",keep their personal business to themselves. Once you let in negative people, you let in negative thoughts. Keep in mind, that you are in love with each other, and not the friends, neighbors and co-workers. Your fellings belong to you. (Good Luck)

I would just advise having a strong group of friends to back you up. Regardless of what are bound to be a lot of "back you up" comments here, you're going to need people in the real world to buoy you up when you face the adversity your relationship will bring.
I think the biggest thing to keep in mind is, for some people, it just makes them uneasy, and I think it's not racist, it's just because anything out of the normal routine make people a little buggy. It could be really easy to try and find a racist behind every bush, but the truth of the matter is racism is going to fall by the wayside more for today's "whatever works for you" attitude than for any positive "let's put an end to racism" actions or dialogue.

I feel good about interracial relationships and marriages. I have absolutely no problem with it at all. I do think you should follow your heart. Do NOT worry what others think about it all. YOU have to live with your decisions and your life, so, no one else's opinion counts. Best of luck to you both.
Not to mention interracial couples always have the prettiest babies together.

Truthfully i understand that you are just looking to love and be loved so I'll be gentle. althogh i have been curious myself I realize that a relationship with a Caucasian is out of the question. My female ancestors didn't have a choice but I do. When you know your history how can you comfortably trust that you aren't just a novelty to him? Face it, we all have our prejudices, and belief systems about other races. one day when watching the news or during Black History month the real test will come and you will find out how little you really have in common by way of beliefs, perceptions, background, and pain.

I think they are wonderful.!!!! My baby boy is half Mexican and half white. I have been treated like **** because of this and the immigration thing but i think interacial relationships create a wonderful diversity that the world needs.

People should love who they want to love. Race is irrelevant. I don't have a problem with it.

Others opinion shouldn't matter. Sounds like you have already made up your mind.

I am in an interracial marriage and it isn't working for us. We were raised differently, like different things etc. Some work some don't. I wouldn't recommend it.
