FFX - Tidus?

Question

I heard that Square Enix said something about Tidus being modeled after a real person. There are lots of rumors on the web and I can't find an evidence that confirms this one. Can somebody please tell me who?

I've heard about this. I read in a magazine when they were comparing Final Fantays characters to real people:

Tidus-Meg Ryan
