Yknow Im a fan of most music, although lately Ive been gettin heavily into rock I occasionally enjoy the sounds of rap and hiphop. Lately I've been gettin into Tupac of course, even Biggie, Nas, and Lupe Fiasco. People with Good beats and good flows.
But the nwer guys on TV and whatnot sound liek crap to me...from everyone to 50cent to all the "Lils" to E-40 to Young Joc to the Jibbs or whatever idiot who tried to make a song out of a grade school tune.
Is it just me or does anyone else find this hard to believe that these repulsive excuses for music actually make money.
Even to the point where I've come to hate new R&B, I was a fan of Destinys Child but lately I cant standf Beyonces solo music. Especially her "Ring the Alarm" song which I found...just horrible....
Am I alone in such a mindset?

Its all about the money nowadays. I think that the rap game as revolved a lot since Tupac and Biggie, but the game ain't the same. I really sometimes just enjoy listening to the beats. So basically I feel the same way you do?

yes it does for the past uhm 7 or 8 years.i use to be a big hip hop/rap fan but everybody sounds the same lately.beats are close to the same song lyrics about the same thing.the best hip hop/rap to me came out in the late 80's to about 1998 there is a few exceptions but not many.now all its abouti is the car they are "driving" and the rims on it and the women they get.what happened to the real gangsta rap?and even the good time rap and the messages that alot of them had.thats one reason i converted back to rock and metal.i still bump my old stuff though but its not like it use to be thats for sure.

I conform to a definite volume, yet i in my view do unlike a brilliant number of Dub Step. There are a number of artists who're dazzling exterior of Tupac, and as somebody who enjoys and listens to the variety fairly many times, I advise you seem up some artists to enhance your view slightly. This contains "oftentimes used" rappers including Nas, Kanye West, Jay-z, J. Cole, Wale, Biggie, some Drake. I additionally advise some greater "indie" artists like Frank Ocean, The Weeknd, and infantile Gambino. on the same time as those are a number of my own favorites, there are literally a brilliant number of rappers accessible and to sentence an entire variety isn't any distinctive from me asserting Indie Rock sucks with out ever having listened to it.

the music doesn't suck... it just doesn't make sense... they're all just a bunch of oversexed artists that got money fronted to them by the record companies...
