Napoleon Dynamite is one of the best movies I've ever seen. It is funny and touching and talks about the rites of passage most of us went through in high school. It has a good message for how to live one's life: don't be a cookie cutter person, do things your own special way with confidence and you will be rewarded for it. The only people who wouldn't think it is funny are the people who were In Crowd Bullies in high school that purposefully made life difficult for those who either had no ability or no interest in being in the Popular Crowd. Which begs the question, why do they call it the Popular "Crowd" when there are typically so few of them as compared to everyone else? Everyone I've ever talked to about the film loved it!

Because the clips and quotes were so overused in the beginning that it's gotten old. I love the movie, but I do admit all the t-shirts and everything is a bit much.

Plus, Napoleon Dynamite caters to a certain type of humor. Many people think it's funny. Many do not. It just depends on the type of humor the person has.

And, to the person above, it's not slapstick. There's, like, one slapstick element in the entire movie. And, most kids wouldn't even find the movie funny, so I'm not really sure what you're talking about.

They think it has too shallow of a plot to be funny. Also if you don't relate to nerd humor then it sort of gets boring.
