They are definitely getting more shipments between now and Christmas. Sony is shipping their PS3s by air (rather than boat) to the United States to get them here almost as fast as they can make them.
I've spoken to several stores in my area and they are getting shipments occasionally. One Walmart manager even told me their next big shipment is due BEFORE Christmas. I recommend that you call your local stores such as Walmart, Target, Gamestop/EB, Circuit City, Toys R Us, and any other stores that carry the PS3 near you. I got lucky and was able to just drive over to Walmart the other day to buy a Playstation 3.

You Know There Not Bringin That Much PS3's But I Suggest Getting The WII Or Asking Gamestop Or Eb games!!!

no...sadly sony hates us...if you cant tell they always bulk up the costs and always manage to throw a few bugs in i doubt they will now enough about my paranoia the head of sony said i dont care when he was asked if the ps3 will be one of the top items this holiday season
