Hannuka is also known as the festival of lights thanks to it's story which was written about two thousand years ago. It happened that there was not enough oil for the light source for the temple in which a spiritual celebration was to be held but thanks to devine intervention the oil lasted for eight days and when the supply was replennished the congregation celebrated this occurance. I myself do not celebrate Hannuka but I have several friend of the Jewish faith who celebrate it.

Hannukah is probably celebrated by millions of Jews around the world along with their relatives. Somehow, the term "actually" never seems to correspond to the concept of who celebrates the holiday.

My husband and that i like Easter. I fix Easter Baskets finished with colored eggs. I throw a brisket on the grill, make potato salad, baked beans, with each and all the trappings. If we are fortunate, the little ones and grandchildren could make the holiday to bypass to (each and all the little ones stay out of city). yet I pass over the super Easter celebrations we had as quickly as we've been youthful. extensive kinfolk dinner and Easter egg hunt at Grandmothers.

I think the real question is "Does anyone actually celebrate strictly Kwanzza?"

Hanukkah is a very old celebration....which actually has HISTORY behind it...it wasn't just made up willy nilly.
