If you talk about religious faith, like denomination, I would say in the long run love does not conquer faith, it will present an obstacle with family and friends, it is best to stay in ones own faith.

First, define 'love' and define 'faith'.
Once you have certain what you think both are, then compare them. Is love like a bond of stone, one 'soulmate' forever throughout the cosmos, or is it more of a here and now fancy, a feeling of mutual benefit? What is faith but a word to something you cannot see, hear, feel, taste, or commune with? Or is faith much more tangible, something bred and built-in?
Once you've made your own definitions, the answer will pop up to you, yourself.
But personally, 'conquer' seems the wrong word, and is better replaced by the humorous question, 'which came first, the chicken, or the egg?' One cannot have a love defined by society without the existance of society's bounds to shape it. Theoretically, one cannot believe in the concept of love itself without having the faith to believe it exists to begin with.

It goes both ways, but better if love conquers faith. If love conquers faith, a heart is truly opened. When faith is victorious, the door is opened for justifying prejudice, cruelty, and hatred.
