Yes, there are some computer viruses that affect mobile phones.
First of all, there are PC viruses that drop components for some mobile devices. For instance, the W32/MTX virus drops a PalmOS component (which is a joke, though, not a real virus) and the Crossover virus drops a Windows Mobile component.
Second, there are native viruses for the most popular mobile operating systems - Symbian, Windows Mobile and PalmOS.
Currently, the viruses for Windows Mobile and PalmOS are not a real threat - they are mostly proof-of-concept. There is one PalmOS virus which is a stupid overwriter (i.e., the infected programs immediately stop working, so its presence is rather obvious) and 3 PalmOS Trojans. There are also two viruses for Windows Mobile and a Trojan (a backdoor) for it. One of the two viruses asks for permission before infecting.
Now, Symbian - that's another matter. There are many viruses (and even more Trojans) for it. The most prevalent viruses are from the Cabir and CommWarrior family - especially the latter. They spread via Bluetooth; the CommWarrior viruses also spread via MMS and the .Q variant can also spread via MMC cards.
However, all known Symbian viruses are for the S60 R2 only. Some of the Trojans might work under the UIQ interface, but the viruses don't. Also, S60 R3 is binary incompatible with S60 R2, so the known viruses (and Trojans) don't work there, either. Nokia is aggressively phasing out the S60 R2 phones (in favor of S60 R3 phones) but the old ones are still quite widespread and if you have one of them, you better install some anti-virus program on it.
Finally, there are two Russian J2ME Trojans - but they aren't a serious threat, either.

To date the viruses affecting mobile phones have been limited to the Nokia "Symbian" operating system (smart phones). They spread through bluetooth, a proximity networking technology that allows a device to communicate with other devices within a given distance/proximity. Generally up to 10 meters.
