If you were in publice and you were staring at someone you knew, they smiled at you, you in turn attempt to say hello or something, and they quickly avert their eyes to ignore you? Be honest, don't say you wouldn't care.

Well, I think they are just teasing you.. Of course it gives you a sort of discomfort. But don't bother, they may want to disturb you or distract you... just keep going.and be happy

It'd make me feel awkward. Although insecurity tempts me to let my feelings get hurt, I believe there's a good chance the person really had something on their mind ( just realized something, or saw somebody else they actually didn't want to see). Still, I might hesitate before initiating contact with that person later.

Maybe you shouldn't assume that a person is out right ignoring you. Maybe something else had caught that person's attention. If it was me, I just say "oh well" & move on.

honestly i wouldn't care not time i wouldn't be so sure that I would attempt to speak or show them any attention, or it could be that the person wasn't looking at you but past you and you didn't realize that

yeah i get that alot from girls. they smile at me but when i approach they look away not because they are trying to ignore me but they become very shy and blushy lmao if thats a word but thats where the real playa instincts come in and i gently grab their chins to face me and gracefully embrace their soft smooth face and say "you should never look away when someone is staring at you because your beauty is irresistable" peep game to all you nervous dudes.

I guess at first i'd feel surprised, and then i guess i'd be hurt or angry, depending on who the person was and how well i knew them.
