well this is what happens when men "if you can call them that" are threatened by a woman. I:e,they won't let them leave the house alone, drive or learn to read.they just turn them into suicide bomber factories and kill them if they try to have an opinion.in other words arab men are afraid of women.

I think it's an extremist viewpoint. The Muslim friends I have had simply covered their hair and bodies and didn't go about in burkhas. Christians are varied in their beliefs and principles. There are some people who feel you should take the exact words of the Bible and that it is a literal thing. There are others who feel that perhaps some things in it are merely metaphors. An example would be Christians who believe in evolution and those who believe in creationism. I know personally my mother believes we evolved but that God had a hand in all of it and that in the Bible perhaps a "day" wasn't literally 24 hours. I think it's the same with the Muslim faith. There are some who interpret the Koran very differently than others...or choose to act upon it in a very different way. Not every person of the Muslim faith believes in honor killings...but some do and we probably hear about those who do more than we hear about the people who live quiet nonviolent lives.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not a practicer of Islam so if I've butchered any terms or words or meanings I'm terribly sorry and meant no offense.

I really don't know the rules or regulations in the Muslim world , but since you can find the video I have to say it seems like that.
And my image about those Muslim countries is that the freedom of the people living there(especially women) is considerably limited.

The Taliban are fundamental extremist psychos who are not really Muslims. They are beating these women not in the name of "Allah" but out of a hopeless need to exert their power over a defenceless human being.

Nice try, though....

I believe that showing this video violates the Taliban's civil rights. Did he give permission to be photographed beating a woman, or to have that video shown in the U.S.A.?
