Nothing is an absolutists term. But if you're an absolutist, you can't possibly ask anything from the emotional standpoint because emotion delves into all that is uncertain.

It's like a philosophical oxymoron.

So, if you wanted to be tricky, ask, "Where is nothing, from an emotional standpoint?" And in that case, one might answer, "Nothing is within, and all is without." Because to have nothing within is to exume nothing out, and if you exume nothing and harbor all that isn't, you inevitably don't exist. Not logically, at least.

The void. The swirling black hole that lives deep inside the mind and constantly tugs at a person's being threatening to suck him/her into oblivion and often dragging in those unfortunate enough to be too close.
