i have a dream that starts with me running from my mom, into the field beside her house, and my turning into a dragon. i fly over the short band of trees that connects her house to the ajoining property, but instead of a house there, there's an old, abandoned castle there w/no roof. i fly into it, and then notice a gravestone and a huge egg, both of which i have to protect from the other dragons that are now trying to drive me away from the castle, the egg, and the grave. what does this dream mean?

Sounds like ur about to recieve a blessing and other things are getting in the way of that blessing .....
I dont think ur mom being there is concerning .....
are u protecting something old and something new ?
hhmmm u didnt say if u r a Christian.....
usually when ur being chased or ur fighting off beings to protect urself or ur "treasure" ur soul is what is at risk....
in some way u know what the stone and the egg mean .....
u need to look at them as spirtual things not physical things ..
example ... the stone could be something old or burried ....like ur old life ....( were u receptly baptized )?
the egg could mean something new .... ur future ....
marriage ..... or again baptism..... or more common a baby....
have u made a life changing choice?
whatever the answer .... u r being warned by God to pray and fast bcuz ur being attacked ... get urself spiritually ready to endure a fight over you.....something or some one is going to try to cause u to fail ......
the warning is not for u to stand up and fight ...... but rather for u to pray and fast ...... so that u can endure a period of trial....while God fights FOR YOU ......

All depends on your relationship with your mom.
Mom's are uaually wise, and their children get to a stage where they think they are wiser.
You say 'her' house, not 'our' house ?
A dragon is a bad attitude , that will try and destroy a good relationship.
The abandoned house next to yours is a place where many daughters have been, and thought they were queen of the castle, no protection (roof) and many other clashes of attitudes waiting for you, if you do not sort out the little forest between yourself and your mom.
The grave, those that never made it, the egg, a big problem that will hatch if you keep flying around in that castle.

You're seeking safe haven(the abandond castle just for you) in order to protect tradition, yet put old to rest (the grave),so that you may be reborn to the new paths before you ( the egg). I would think that tensions you and your mother push you to remember a terrible memory (the grave). But you also realize the prospect of beginning a new life or new path you want to take (the egg). Just a guess...
In my opinion, only YOU can know what this dreams means.

Sounds to me that maybe you feel a little guilty, hurt and confused about the relationship with your mother.
That maybe because you are getting older and starting to live your own life you are feeling a little torn between still being dependant on your mother and being independent.
We all are born and then we die, hence the egg and grave
you want to do right by your mum but you also want to do whats right by you, hence wanting to protect the egg and grave as even in death your mother is still your mother

I believe that dreams are our brains way of dealing with all the junk that has built up in our psyches during the day. Just enjoy it and maybe use it as a creative outlet for your mind, and maybe write it down, but trying to figure out what every little nuance means will drive you batty.
