Yes you should get it, I was a beta tester for both beta versions, and now that it's been released, pretty much all of the bugs that existed in the previous beta versions have been ironed out.
It's got less bugs & security issues than Internet Explorer 6 has, and it's a lot better mostly because of the ability to open up "tabs" instead of opening up new windows.
I'd advise upgrading to it now, there's no need to wait for the first service pack to come out, because there's nothing that really needs service on it :)

I had the new Internet explorer 7 and it didn't work so well for me, it's good for what it does but it was slower in running at times, and it my friend had trouble with it when he tried to log into yahoo he has yahoo dsl and the customer service representative suggested to him to stay with the IE 6 version until the bugs are worked out on the new version...

Right now, its got some major user interface issues, that is, its hard to find the things you want to use on it. I would honestly suggest looking at Firefox first, then Opera second. Both have had tabs for a lot longer time than IE, and have a lot more of the kinks worked out. So I would say don't get IE7, but get Firefox.

If you get used to Opera interface, IE7 just same like it.
I have stop using Opera due to the fact that IE7 is same as it and I need IE to do all the windows and MS update. No point of having 2 different broswer doing the same jobs.

It depends on you.
I got it put on my computer, and it is practically an impersonation of Mozilla Firefox. I think what you should do is download Firefox and keep the old IE 'cos Firefox is compatible with everything and it's easier to use than IE 7.

Many companies are not installing it because some of the security features are also preventing desirable web based software from working.

Personally, I would wait for the first service pack before jumping in.
