I would think intelligence is more important. Without intelligence how can any one get, you are less likely to be able to put your education to good use. Example: If you are educated, but not intelligent you will be more than likely to follow the steps laid out to you via your schooling Once something comes up not in the book, they will be lost.

It depends on your goal. In the American business world, education will often get you further than intelligence. In being wise in life, sometimes intelligence better prepares you than education.
Why would an intelligent person not want to be educated? It should be an easy boon.

I think that they are equal. When I went to uni, I met quite a few of those 'educated idiots' who didn't have a bit of common sense.
Intellligence has been around forever- school or no school. How many of my ancestors went to college? Not many! I know a lot of people who are incredibly smart without education. I guess it just depends on the person.

both of them are important and one needs both to get to a certain point in life
If you are not educated about life itself then which way will you turn to succed? Common sense falls into the same category intelligence does. No job: no food, no rent, no money. Education as far as a degree, equals more opportunities with the basic intellectuals.

Kinda like asking, "Which is more important, food or water?" Need both. If you have intelligence, hopefully you have the common sense to know you need education to go with it. Some people have a high I.Q., but can't tie their shoes...no common sense. Some people with an average I.Q. are more successful in life because they studied harder, have more knowledge in their chosen field.

Intelligence. my pop-pop was a wonderful man he never went to college or graduated high school, but he was the smartest man I ever knew. he could tell you six different stories about anything you asked him, and six more stories about each of those stories. he could never actually do many math problems but you'd think so by the determination. you can go to the best universities in all the world and be as dumb as can be.

intelligence cause there is more time to create new cures in life and figure out new solutions to live than to sit in a classroom all day reviewing the same old crap.

It has to be intelligence, because you'll still be able to figure anything out without school.
