I was never into Britney when she first came out. I hated the false image she kept trying to put out, pretending to still be a virgin, and that she was just all sweet & innocent.
That's why I liked Christina Aguilera better, because Christina refused to "stay a little girl" for the record companies and instead "grew up" and altered her music and image to reflect the fact that she was older and a woman, not a little girl anymore.
Thing is, Christina lost ground after Britney got married. When she got married Britney became much more real and a bit more down to earth compared to her previous "Diva Popstar" image. She dropped the "innocent" act and had 2 babies, dumped K-Fed, kicked back a bit, and was comfortable enough to "go commando" in a mini skirt. =)
Even though some people don't like her anymore because of her recent partying. I like her much better now because she's being herself and not trying to pretend to be something she's not. Still not much into her music, but as a person, I find her more facinating now than when she was a popstar princess.

I like her even if she's making scandals today. Many people don't like her because she has anything most people wished they had or have.
