It used to stay logged on before we had to wipe out our computer. Now all the settings are different and i don't know what they were set for. As soon as i close the internet it logs off. It used to stay on for a while at least.

Its not just the cookies that does that. There is something called sessions which are asigned to every user. These sessions get expired after a specific interval of time.

Go in those you accounts and change it and you should check your other program and if clean your cache but fair warning that all cookies are good to stay on your computer

Those mail systems are only on the internet. You can drop off the internet and still access them. You need a local mail system to do that.

If you've turned the internet off, you can't stay logged in to email.

yahoo doesnt stay logged in for security purposes. if u have yahoo messenger, and you sign in to that, or keep it signed in, everytime u get email, a lil message will pop up on the bottom right hand corner that will take you right into your mail box w/o having to sign in.
