i had this dream a couple times before. im in the middle of the ocean. im pulling myself upward toward the surface, but i keep sinking lower and lower. fyi, im not afraid of water. have you ever had a dream like that?

all i see is the surface of the water and the sun reflecting on it. no fish or anything like that.

You feel like you're sinking and you're losing oxygen to the lungs. Water signifies cleansing as well as suffocation, don't be afraid to come up for air. Are you in a relationship where you don't know what to do and don't know where you stand? Be your own voice. There'll come a time when you're refreshed. If you continue having the dreams, keep a journal and write down any differences. I wish you the best.
