It is easy for me to land a job in sales, banks or anything that has to do with dealing with customers. It easy really fustrating, because i know that i am good as an IT employee. I have been working in the IT field for almost 2 years as a technician, but i really want to leave my department, so i am currently looking to transfer to a helpdesk department and work my way up.I really do want to skip the helpdesk stage. I am also still going to school; majoring in computer science.

Where are you? You might check through your school, many companies have intern programs.

If you only have two years, you shouldn't skip the Helpdesk stage. You can learn a lot about the company that way and make a smoother transition into more technical support.

Check around at your school. They're always looking for student helpdesk workers - people to answer questions for dumb people that call in, or to help set up computers in labs, etc. They usually pay decently and hours aren't bad. If you're pretty savvy, you might be able to get an assistant sysadmin position, if that strikes your fancy.
