Remove your thermostat paying close attention to what wires connect to what terminals. Join together the R and W wires....ususally red and white. If the furnace comes on and runs normally, you know its the stat. If not, it sounds like a low pressure switch, a flame sensor a limit or possible other problems. At least you can rule out the thermostat by jumping your low voltage. Let me know if I can help.

If the pilot kicks in and then drops out you may have a problem with the main controls - a safety issue. Normally a digital stat does not have a - anticipator in it's circuitry, so if your furnace won't fully come on there is something else wrong- contact me I am a heating serviceman- I might be able to walk you thru a trouble shooting sequence. avengergt@yahoo.com

the in elementary words vast difference between the 4 prong and the three prong conection is that once you take advantage of a 4 prong connection, you get rid of a copper connection between the impartial and the floor on the dryer itself. On a 4 prong you isolate the impartial from the floor on the application. in case you in elementary words have a three prong receptacle connect the impartial to the floor the position the cord attaches to the application. some each and anybody is going to assert you should rewire that receptacle, yet technically this is not actual. this is going to artwork both way. Dryer manufacturers do not forget that folk determining to purchase new dryers do not inevitably stay in a sparkling residing house.. maximum cellular houses have a 4 prong outlet for the dryer besides except it truly previous. in case you opt for a 4 prong cord only get one on the ironmongery save and make confident once you hook it as a lot because the dryer make confident you isolate the impartial from the floor with techniques from eliminating the bonding copper strip the joins them mutually. If there's no copper bonding strip then only hook it up wisely. 2 warm wires (2 black or black and pink) a impartial (white) and a floor (eco-friendly).

If the pilot won't stay lit than it is likely a bad thermocouple and has nothing to do with the thermostat. Get a technician to check the furnace

All thermostats have a (heat anticipator). It has different settings for different types of heat. If you still have your old one see where it was set. The anticipator adds heat to the thermostat to trick it. If set too high it would cause your problem.

You probably didn't wire it right. I hope you still have the papers on it for the wiring diagram. If not try and find another, probably the place where you bought the first one. Then go over the diagram (wiring) maybe the ac will work O.K. but, not the heater. You may have to replace it.
