Depends on what type of rock you like. Me, I'm a heavy metal type, growing up listening to the 80's, so Metallica, Guns N' Roses (GNR), Poison, and Bon Jovi are musts.
Metallica- "Off Through the Never", and "Enter Sandman" are favorites.
GNR- "Knockin' On Heaven's Door", "Sweet Child O' Mine", "Don't Cry" and "Welcome to the Jungle" are one of the greatest as well.
Poison- "Every Rose has it's Thorns", it might not be from Poison, so apologies if I'm wrong.
Bon Jovi- You can never go wrong with "You Give Love a Bad Name"

I love all that is rock and hate all that is rap. My favorite bands are Judas Priest, Green Day, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Pantera, Black Sabbath, KISS, Alice Cooper, oh God there are so many to chose from.
I'd suggest "Breakin' the Law", "Creeping Death", "Stairway to Heaven", "American Idiot", "Rock 'N' Roll All Nite", "Iron Man", "Walk" or "Cowboys from Hell" and "Dead Babies". Those are my favorites.

Anything by Shinedown. They are an awesome band. Also try stuff from Three Days Grace's One-X album and from Breaking Benjamin's Phobia album.
