It usually happens when I'm buying my beaver repellent, and yes, i do get batteries and thongs mixed up all the time
same goes for cameras and guns,.... it all ended in a horrible tragedy at a wedding...and of course as you guessed, my gun got mistaken as my camera, and, you know what would happen...

Not that i can recall.
I once bought a pack of smokes and i opened the package and realized it was "light" and not "black" and i was like "OOOOOOOHHHH MYYYY GOOOODDDDDDDD, IS THIS A SIGN TO QUIT SMOKING BECAUSE I AM SO NOT GOING TO..."
