I think the question is actually applicable. The idea of what is sexy should include more than physical attributes. Political ideals have a way of revealing themselves in personality. I would think that if politics is never discussed, a couple who are attracted to eachother for whatever reason would usually find the have similar ideals.
(Just not Mary Matalin and James Carville)

All but the one you belong to, right? People are people, for better or worse, I'm sure neither Bill Clinton nor Mark Foley are typical of the sexual behaviour of their party supporters, at least i hope not. People who seek power sometimes care less about what shape they must take to attain it, and thus those that best disguise themselves as respectable climb the highest. It would seem like we could find more decent people, but maybe decent people aren't willing to compromise themselves in the ways a successful politician has to? (That's right, reps and dems, I just said "a pox on both your houses" --my challenge is give us decent, honest respectable candidates, not closet racists running on their being female, or career politicians telling us they have a "new vision" for America).
