WHY are there so many volcanos in the ring of fire?

...i now there are heaps of moving plates forming them ect...but why are there so many there???

Any time a plate is being subducted, you will get volcanism. Plates move around and bump into each other. When a continental plate bumps into an oceanic plate, the oceanic plate will be subducted because it is more dense. When Oceanic plates bump into each other, the oldest one will be subducted because it is more dense since it has had more time to, and will sit lower in the asthenosphere. What we call the ring of fire, is a "ring" that is formed from the subduction of these plates.

Well, volcaones ONLY happen around converging tectonic plates, except for hot spots, such as Hawaii. At the plates edges, two plates collide. Most on the time, one plate will slip under the other. The plate that goes under is actually melted back into the mantle. The plate on top is probably folded causing mountains. Then the newly formed magma comes up. Volcanoes usually form at an oceanic-continental plate boundary, dur to the different densities.

Because the pacific basin is being overtaken by the continental plates (i.e. it is slowly shrinking on all or most sides) - creating subduction zones around the ocean which causes volcanoes.

With the cracked plates and the weakened crust, it gives the magma a chance to come through

When magma begin to rise it forms a volcano. Be thankful that it doesn't all forms in one spot because if it does we all are dead. Watch the discovery channel.
