Aren't we in America fortunate we have a choice, and that we are free to believe in and support our beliefs?
Martin Luther King stood up for his belief; he was assassinated. Medgar Evers stood up for his beliefs, he was assassinated. John F. Kennedy stood up for his beliefs, he was assassinated. Robert F. Kennedy stood up, he was assassinated.
I am pro-choice. I stand on my belief that everyone has a choice. As a teacher, my students have a choice. Do the assigned work or accept a failing grade. Do my student's parents/guardians have the the "right" to overrule my decision or assassinate me? Can the students or parents assail me on my political stance?
Barack Obama is standing up for what he believes. I don't think his beliefs have anything to do with his political affiliation. Mine don't. I vote for the person, not for a political party.

The President has little influence in the abortion issue. President Bush is pro-life, yet the U.S. still has a pro-choice policy - even after he appointed 2 Supreme Court Justices. I emplore you to weigh other issues more heavily when voting because the choice issue has been almost completely settled.

I haven't yet heard him answer any of the tough questions; he dances around 'em instead. He's pretty and talks a good line but until he's seasoned and toughened up a bit he's not ready for prime time.
And, by the time he is, he'll have the problem that has US Senators 0-55 in presidential attempts since JFK - a track record (the public review of which is a politician's worst nightmare).

The nature about the "Demos" is center around personal liberties where the governement shouldn't be involved in peoples bedrooms and doctors office. If you don't want to have an abortion than don't, but leave other people a lone for other to make up their own mind.

What would you do if the race came down to Obama and Giuliani? Both are pro choice.

I pay quite a bit of attention to politics and do not see what is the great attraction to Obama. What has he done to deserve such scrutiny to this point in his career? Please help me here. I did not answer your question but I do believe no one should be elected president for their ideas alone. They should be elected by their track record of what they have done and what they do plan to do.

Why, because if everyone had a "choice" they would have to face God on their own and answer for what they did without you and your partys help?
