An honest but not irritating boy that has a well rounded mind of his own, that knows how to navigate in a world of his peers will probably make a good man. That man should always be hungry for more knowledge yet humble enough to work for the improvement of others spreading that knowledge.
Travelling helps a lot too.
Knowing how to love and be loved and avoiding intentionally hurting others makes an outstanding gentleman and father in the future.
