What if there was a person on answers that you really wanted to get to know better but his email was hidden? Would you directly ask him a question? What would you do?

I'd look for a real person, one you could actually see once in a while...and one who is who he appears to be. You have no guarantees here - I know my avatar is a Siamese cat, but I'm really not one... and a lot of these guys who say they're kids, aren't. And vice versa. If his email and 360 are hidden, there's a reason. And I doubt it's just a real desire for privacy.
