i have lots of instrumental music
and i want to write songs for them...

what is the easiest way to voice-over/dub over the music
and produce a music file with my voice over the instrumental music?

You'd need some kind of a mixer board so you can play the music through headphones, at just the right level under your voice and record them both at once... or you could record just the voice and lay it over a new music track where you can adjust the levels. You'd do it in a program that lets you place each on on its own track so you can manipulate them, then merge (mix) them together as a single audio file.

I would say to play the music in the back ground while you sang to it and record it I do that all the time.If that doesn't help then i'm sorry I just really wanted to answer this question!
