im in a garage punk rock band and everytime ive sat down and tried to make a song i just cant start ya kno....do i hav to wait for liek "divine intervention" adn have a perfect song like just click in my mind or wat?

Some people are good at that sort of things, and some people just blank out. You may be a great singer or a great gutiarist, but not everyone is cut out to write a song.
If you have a chance to look at any of the RockStar Supernova song writing episodes, it may help you to see how the contestants there came oup with their stuff. Some started with a chorus and built the rest of the lyrics from that. Another started with a riff or a melody and the words came to them from listening to it enough.

I write alot and it flows and comes to me in a snap. If you are having problems beginning......think of something cool you'd like to sing about, and take it from there. After you start it may just take off and you'll be dazzled it was so easy. Just make a conscience effort, and no doubt.
