In reply to Jeff...I would like to say that no matter how "storied" Notre Dame is...they are also the most overrated program in the NCAA. Not 100% certain they are even a Top 20 team this season...yet they are in a BCS Bowl. Go figure huh?

Notre Dame is ranked 11th in the BCS standings and 1st in the Independent standings. They are in no way overrated, they would have had an undefeated season if it were not for two losses to two of the best teams in college football right now; Michigan and USC, who are ironically the two teams playing in the Rose Bowl. Also, Wake Forest has a BCS bowl, and they are ranked 15th in the BCS standings. Notre Dame may not be the number 1 team in the country, but in no way do they suck.

I'm a Houston Cougar fan, born in South Bend Indiana. I grew up respecting Notre Dame Football,the players to many greats to list, the coaches, the fans and the Golden Dome, I still route for them. Just because your team sucks don't take it out on a team you know nothing about do. I'm a Coug's fan, but still respect the Irish.
