It hurts. But it is quick. With me, it didn't hurt the next day, but the second day it was very sore. But, I just wore a little tummy shirt(but they aren't in style anymore lol) and got over it.
I definately think you should do it! I got mine pierced on my 18th birthday and I just turned 24. I took it out about a year ago, and I have a little scar, but I had so much fun with it. You are only young once, you know!

Well, it didn't hurt while the piercing was being done. It was afterwards that the pain started.

The process is pretty quick and easy. The piercer clamps your tummy skin after marking the spot that you think looks good. Then sticks the 14 gauge needle (or any other size you feel like experiencing) and while the needle is still in, the piercer slides the ring into the hole. Then pulls out the needle. It's pretty cool. I watched it the whole time.

Healing takes awhile since we always move around a lot. Sitting and standing, wearing different pants would irritate it.

If you feel like doing it then do it. The pain would go away after awhile, like everything does and will.

The healing phase always hurts more Hun. The piercing itself only takes a second and it's over with. The aftercare is what's a pain (literally). As far as your age, yeah that's why they set age restrictions on things. There's a good reason for them. YOU ARE TOO YOUNG!! That's ok you'll take it out in a few years or less and regret it when you have an ugly scar left.

yes, it hurts, but only for a little while.

I had mine done (on impulse) about two months ago.

If you do it . . . keep it on a "regular" cleaning schedule (at least twice a day). If you don't, it WILL get sore. Expect it to get crusty and full of puss. It doesn't look too pretty. Healing time (depends on person) is anywhere from six months to one year (NOT kidding!!!)

You cannot wear clothes over it and can't sleep on it.

But, in the long run, I'm glad to have mine. I can't wait to start putting in new charms!

When I get my Chrismas bonus, I'm going to get my nose pierced!

Hey, GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Yes it hurts and it gets infected really easy even if your very clean. It happened to me. Getting it done the needle going in is fast you don't feel it. After it hurst and its sore. You can't wear anything touching it or sleep on your stomach. I am like mr. clean here immaculate. It still got infected. If it gets bumped or touched or if your skins streches that a prob. Your body may reject it..you never know how its gonna be. I got like 6 cute bellyrings in you want em!

Of course it hurts, it's punching a hole through your flesh and shoving metal in said hole. You have to ask yourself if the pain is worth having it. If you think it will make you cool, then do it.

Yes, it does hurt. As far as asking whether or not you should do it, well that's really up to you. Are you really going to rely on random strangers' opinions on the internet? It's your body, after all.
