Hey guys.... My husband, his uncle, friend and myself are considering opening a food business in a few months. Since we are all pretty new to this what do you think we should do to start. I have started on papers on what to do, when and so on but since then my mind has been blank. Would you have any ideals on anything. Like things we wouldn't be able to think of.
If you can help thanks so much for your time!!!

You need the following things for a business:

1. A bank checking account.
2. Complete paperwork for a corporation or doing-business-as (DBA) certificate.
3. Locate a place for your business.
4. Locate suppliers and find out what is needed to open accounts with them.
5. Put together a financing plan. This includes money that you use to seed the business as well as any loans you may need.
6. A marketing plan. How will you market this business to your customers? Contact the phone company to find out when you need to decide to get your information into the Yellow Pages.
7. Contact the local government to learn what the regulations are for a business of this type.

Good luck!
