If the season ended today and the worst 7 teams were in order Detroit Lions, Oakland Raiders, Tampa Bay Bucaneers, Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, and the Houston Texans.
Who would each of these teams draft with their first pick or would they trade their picks around?

those were all good picks for the guy that used the mel kiper draft board but you also have to take in mind that their will be many juniors coming out for the draft this year which would hurt many of those players as guys like calvin johnson and adrian peterson come out for the draft

Det: Quinn
Oak: Calvin Johnson
TB: Joe Thomas - T (Wisconsin)
Ari: Gaines Adams - DE (Clemson)
GB: Leon Hall - CB (Michigan)
Cle: Adrian Peterson - RB (Oklahoma)
Hou: Sam Baker - T (USC)
You have the your order wrong, if the season ended today, it would be Det-Oak-TB-Ari-GB-Wash-Hou-Cle

1. Lions- Troy Smith QB Ohio State, Quinn looks good here too but I think Smith will make the better pro.
2. Raiders- Gaines Adams DE Clemson, no outside pass rush what-so-ever. unless they snag Freeney (which they won't) Gaines is a must pick here
3. Buccs- Calvin Johnson WR Georgia Tech, Johnson and Clayton could make for a nice 1-2 punch for any QB. They need in the secondary but Johnson is far too talented to pass on.
4. Cardinals- Joe Thomas OT Wisconsin, biggest "no-brainer" of the draft
5. Packers- Adrian Peterson RB Oklahoma, they need help almost everywhere. They need Quinn, but will Ahmad Green getting older, a young back will boast this team immediately
6. Browns- Alan Branch DT Michigan, they need help on the line, period. Branch is the best man for the job.
7. Texans- Leon Hall CB Michigan, besides D. Robinson, there secondary is garbage. Solid pick. My early choice for next years DPOY.
If anyone trade there pick, I think it would be the Lions in hope for Brady Quinn a little later.

DET Brady Quinn ND QB
OAK Joe Thomas Wisconsin Tackle
TBB LaRon Landry LSU Safety
ARI trade down for multiple picks or for an O lineman
GBP Amobi Okoye Louiville DT
CLE Leon Hall Michigan CB
HOU Tony Ugoh Arkansas Tackle
Tampa needs youth on that Defense, if they don't go with a DB like Landry, they will draft someone speedy like Gaines Adams from Clemson to help with the pass rush.
Arizona cannot afford another high money player, and need help on the O line which makes a trade the most likely scenario unless Joe Thomas is still available.
Jeff Samardzija could move into the picture here as well, especially if Favre returns for another year and asks for more weapons to throw to. If Galloway retires in Tampa however, they just might grab Samardjiza first.
The bowl games will be one more chance for things to get shaken up a bit, and of course the NFL season will not end with these teams in exactly this order, but it was fun breaking it down none the less.

My crew is Cleveland, yet seeing as even with the truth that we do no longer have any selections till the 4th round (it really is advantageous with me) i am going to communicate the Raiders %.. i imagine a myth may be for them to draft McFadden and really have a astounding backfield particularly of a buncha has beens, yet searching at their problem they quite want a line. they ought to Draft lengthy of Michigan in the journey that they get the threat and pickup Gallery and the different ought to of's and tutor them what a realy youthful skills can do. they have a QB (Russell) if he isnt the size of Jabba the Hutt, by the time the season begins. And a good TE/Receiver blend. Their protection is phenominal (no longer the D Line, the secondary). particular communities, even with out Chris Carr, will be advantageous. Like I reported, construct a line, even with the undeniable fact that the flashy %. may be McFadden.

Detroit - Brady Quinn (they need a QB, and Matt Millen likes drafting big name offensive guys)
Oakland - Calvin Johnson
Don't know about the rest.
