Please help me. Every few weeks, I get a call from some person who insists that they are getting repeated calls from my phone number. I didn't call them. What's worse, it's not just that my number shows up in caller i.d. (I did see the ad on yahoo answers for www.spoofcard.com), but that the phone call really did come from my phone number, as they pressed whatever button it is to call someone back. I switched cell phone companies, but still get these calls. Someone told me that these spoof calls may come from creditors, but the last two people insisted this couldn't be the case. I'd appreciate any help you can give me.

These are not people I know, I've never called them, they are not my friends. Their phone numbers do not show up on my phone as people I've called.

And my phone is a flip phone, so it can't make calls without being opened.

Switching cell phone companies won't fix the problem if you ported (kept) the same phone number. Also, as the other person said, it could be someone you've called even once. If you wear your phone on your hip and you bump send, then bump again the scroll a time or two then bump send again, this could be happening by accident if you have a non flip phone. If that is the case try keypad lock, Just DON'T forget what you decide on for a passcode to unlock it.
If you do decide to change your phone number and it keeps happening ask the other person what company they are with and report it to your company and tell him to report it to his.
